 I have taken the summer and concentrated on making jewlery.  I will be having a launching party this friday August 2nd and will share that with you.  When I started this blog I was not sure if it was going to be about art or jewelry. I know now it will be about both.  Thank you for following me on my journey.

Someday everything will make perfect sense.

On my way to work I stopped at my favorite donut shop " Star Doughnut" in Lodi. They have the best doughtnuts ever in my opinion. Any they are all very sweet.  They have always let me put my flyers for my painting classes up.I had to buy a doughtnut for myself.  I would have taken a picture of the most yummiest doughtnut ever but, by the time I got to work , it was all gone!  

Shortest horror story:

MONDAY!

 Yes, Friday was so crazy busy at work.  I have a pile of files to follow up on. It must be Monday again!

Before work today, I stopped at Stabucks and drank my tall 

 "extra hot"mocha.  Ahh, the little things in life. 

The end of my work day.  All my work is done. I'am so glad I had time for my little cup of coffee.  Now I get to go home and make jewlery for my trunk show on August 2nd!

Canvas Class

Today we painted a pair.

 One of my favorite things to paint and teach. First we painted the canvas with different shades of green then after it dried,  we painted the bacground blue.  We painted around the pear, came back and touched it up added detail and a stem with leaves and we were done!

This beautiful pear was painted by a six year old!

I am back painting in our dining room.  The pink flowers were so much fun to paint.  I'll be teaching that in class so I'll share more pictures with you.
